Dr. Ben Schroeder was raised amongst the rolling hills and farmland of northeastern Nebraska. He spent his childhood helping animals in need with his veterinarian father, Dr. John Schroeder. Inspired by the family business, Dr. Ben decided to pursue a career in animal healthcare. He graduated with an animal science degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1998 and then, his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2002. While at veterinary school, he met and married his wife, Dr. Erin Schroeder. Dr. Ben’s hobbies include horseback riding, watching movies, and being a sports fan. In his spare time, he enjoys renovating historic buildings with his wife and watching their boys, Charlie and Chase, participate in their various activities.

Dr. Erin Schroeder grew up in Westport, New York, a small town located on Lake Champlain, where she was surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. Erin graduated with her degree in Biochemistry from Syracuse University, where she also played basketball for the Orangewomen. In 2004, she graduated from Kansas State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.  In 2001, she married her husband, Dr. Ben Schroeder, and they have two sons, Charlie- who is currently a freshman in college and Chase- now a junior in high school. Dr. Erin loves interior design and working on home improvement projects, however, her favorite way to spend down time is relaxing with the boys and Ben.
